90m home scheme for factory site
CompAir UK factory in Camborne
CompAir's site in Camborne closed in 2003
People in part of Cornwall have three weeks to say what they think of a 90m plan for the area around a former engineering works.

Up to 350 new homes, mixed with office space and workshops, have been proposed for the old CompAir Holman site in the Dolcoath area of Camborne.

About 40% of the proposed houses and flats are described as affordable.

The scheme has been put forward by planners at the Camborne, Pool and Redruth Regeneration Company.

It also includes light industry, offices and workshops alongside new roads and public spaces with the aim of creating at least 250 new jobs.

An exhibition showing the plans in various stages is also being staged.
