Airport opens new check-in desks
Bristol airport opens 16 new check-in desks on Monday as part of an expansion plan to cope with increased demand.

The new desks, together with a new baggage reclaim hall, are part of a 14m investment programme.

From May, flights to New York from Bristol are beginning and demand from the business community and tourists is expected to be high.

The airport is expecting about 16,000 passengers to pass through the terminal each day over the summer months.

Later this year, flights to more European and UK cities are expected to be added.
