Stalker Ruth Tagg with Ken Dodd
A woman so obsessed by comedian Ken Dodd that she set fire to his house must stay in hospital to undergo more psychiatric tests.

Judge Simon Darwall-Smith extended an interim hospital order on Ruth Tagg, 35, of St. John's Crescent, Bedminster, Bristol, on Monday.

Ms Tagg had bombarded the Merseyside entertainer with letters, cards and indecent photographs between July 2001 and May 2002, and harassed his partner.

On 4 March, she pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court to arson and harassment.

Sentencing is due on 21 November at Nottingham Crown Court.
