Chairman resigns at FA probe club
The chairman of a football club whose ex-manager made claims about corruption in the game's transfer market has stood down in the wake of an FA inquiry.

Luton Town Football Club chairman Bill Tomlins has resigned.

In a statement the club, known as the Hatters, said his resignation comes in the wake of the inquiry thought to relate to finances.

Mr Tomlins said there has been too much disruption at the club and it was an appropriate time for him to stand down.

The Hatters said that while the FA are still investigating them they will not make any further comments.
