Former Luton Town director Martin King has criticised the way in which Mike Newell was sacked as manager. King resigned last week because he felt he wasn't appropriately involved in the process of firing Newell.
He told BBC Look East: "It is disappointing that board members said it was a democratic decision.
"It was decided on Wednesday that we would meet up to discuss the sacking and then on Thursday it was already decided in my absence."
King added: "I think questions need to be answered and I have made my concerns known."
