Fans face football banning orders
Darlington Arena
The match was played on Sunday at the Darlington Arena
Police say they will seek football banning orders against 13 fans arrested when troubled flared at a derby match between Darlington and Hartlepool.

They have all been charged with public order offences, mostly in Darlington town centre after Sunday's game.

Two Darlington supporters have also been charged with breaching existing banning orders.

The men are all due to appear before magistrates across the region over the next few weeks.

Two of those charged were held during the game for running onto the pitch, and another man has been issued with a fixed-penalty fine.

Durham Police said the game, which Hartlepool won 3-0, was attended by 10,000 fans, the majority of whom were there to enjoy the football.
