| Tuesday, 15 October, 2002, 15:33 GMT 16:33 UK Family of missing man speak out ![]() Mr Holmes is one of the four rugby players still missing The family of a Worcestershire rugby player feared dead in the Bali bomb blast have spoken about their "wonderful and loving son, brother and uncle." Tom Holmes was one of six members of an amateur rugby club competing in a tournament in Bali. Two members of the team have been confirmed dead by team manager Mark Pawley and Mr Holmes is one of the remaining four still missing. His brother Paul Holmes said his 39-year-old brother lived his life for sport.
"The only consolation to us is that he was still doing what he loved doing most," he said. "He'd been on the rugby field, he'd been with some of his closest friends and he was having a beer. "He was a wonderful and loving son, brother and uncle." The HKFC Vandals team manager Mr Pawley said the families of the players still missing had been contacted and were "expecting the worst." Bomb attack Mr Pawley confirmed that Clive Walton, 34, of Roker, Sunderland, and Peter Record, 32, had been killed in the blast. The remaining four missing are Mr Holmes, Nathaniel Miller, Stephen Speirs and Edward Waller. Meanwhile, another Midlands man who was with another rugby team in Bali is believed to be among those killed in the bomb attack.
