Post union defends strike action

Delivery and collection workers at Royal Mail have begun a walkout as part of a second day of nationwide strikes.

Paul Moffett, Suffolk regional secretary of the Communication Workers' Union (CWU), denied Royal Mail's accusation that the strike action was holding up negotiations, blaming them for refusing to move on plans for modernisation.
