Only about 10% of women who are attacked make a complaint.

Rape is virtually a crime you can get away with.

Vera Baird QC
If you're watching in broadband, here's how to find your favourite parts of the latest show.

1201 Andrew and Jenny are joined for the show by Darren Johnson, London Assembly member for the Green Party, which holds its spring conference in Scarborough later this week.

1204 New state-financed adverts were released this morning warning men they could go to jail for rape if they have sex without explicit consent. But just as the government campaign is getting underway, they're also thinking of cutting the length of sentences for those found guilty of the crime. That's left many MPs and womens groups concerned that the wrong messages are being sent about rape. Jenny explains what's been happening.

1206 Jenny talks to Yvonne Traynor from Croydon Rape Crisis about the seeming contradiction between the ads and the proposed sentencing guidelines.

1209 Andrew and Jenny are joined in the studio by the Labour MP and QC Vera Baird, who's the parliamentary aide to Home Secretary Charles Clarke.

1216 Tomorrow, MPs will be voting on the Government's plans for education. Every vote will count and the Whips will be working overtime to make sure all those who may be unsure of their allegiances are given the gentle persuasion they deserve! Daniel Brittain has made a film for us looking at exactly what power the whips wield over their parliamentary colleagues, and how they exercise it.

1220 We look at the news breaking this lunchtime, including the Palestinian fire attack on the British Cultural centre in Gaza.

1222 MPs on the Defence Select Committee have started an investigation into Britain's nuclear weapons this morning. A decision on whether to replace the Trident missile system is due in the next couple of years, and the Government has indicated it will make up its mind before the end of the current parliament. Replacing the Navy's four Trident submarines could cost up to 10bn. We're joined by the Tory MP and member of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, David Heathcoat-Amory.

1226 Your questions and emails for Darren Johnson.
