The question is whether the public can retain any confidence in decisions over whether people have behaved badly.

And I think we've discovered in Parliament we can't do it.

It should be much quicker, much simpler, and the public can say: fine - if they did it, they get punished.

Iain Duncan Smith
If you're watching in broadband, here's how to find your favourite parts of the latest show.

1201 Andrew offers profuse thanks to the former Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith who joins us at very short notice. Iain and Andrew discuss this morning's report from the Ctte of Standards in Public Life dealing with breaches of the ministerial code.

1205 We continue our Food Week by sending Jenny back to school - to Rushmore Primary School in Hackney. She'll be asking dinner ladies, teachers and pupils about the Jamie Oliver Effect: are his recommendations too costly and labour-intensive? And do children actually want to eat this stuff?

1208 One of the aspirations which the labour movement has hung onto was Messrs Blair and Brown's vow to completely wipe out child poverty in a generation. So there's disappointment at this morning's news: that the first major target on the way to that goal has been missed, and missed by quite a margin. Laura tells us what's gone wrong.

1211 We're joined by Labour MP Eric Joyce, the parliamentary aide to the Work & Pensions Minister Margaret Hodge. He attributes the problems to a growing economy:
"Because we've seen significant growth, the bar - to get the million children out of that - has been raised. Now, that's not to make excuses. We've made significant advances. It's not been quite enough - not as much as we'd hoped - and we have to catch that up over the next five years."

1217 Jenny breaks the first rule of television by asking the Rushmore children what they're eating as Food Week continues.

1222 Your emails for Iain Duncan Smith.

1225 Jenny's final instalment from Hackney.
