Social network Yammer bought by Microsoft

Microsoft has bought the office social network site Yammer for $1.2bn. Launched in 2008, Yammer now has around five million corporate users.

Meanwhile, Google has unveiled its first own-brand tablet the Nexus 7 at the company's conference for developers conference in San-Francisco.
