Liberation Day re-enactment
Events are held to mark the island's liberation from German occupation
Car parking is being restricted in St Helier during Jersey's Liberation Day celebrations.

The Inn on the Park car park will be closed until 0800 BST on Thursday and People's Park is closed until 2200 BST.

There is no parking on the Esplanade between Castle Street and Weighbridge Place from 1800 BST on Tuesday until 1600 BST on Wednesday.

On Liberation Day, Wharf Street, Church Street, Weighbridge Place and Mulcaster Street will be shut until midday.

Events are held to mark the liberation of Jersey from Nazi occupation in World War II.

A giant stage will be erected in the park and jazz legends Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth have been booked as guests of honour.
