Polish licences to be recognised
Polish people will no longer have to take another driving test to be able to drive in Jersey.

A reciprocal agreement has been signed between the island and Poland.

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Department said some delays had been caused because of problems having Jersey licenses recognised in Poland.

Polish people living in Jersey will be able to exchange their licences for an island replacement. The agreement comes into force from the end of July.

Poland joined the European Union in 2004.
