Polish licence may be recognised
Members of Jersey's Polish community should soon stop missing out on employment opportunities because they have to retake their driving tests.

The Driver and the Vehicle Standards department and the Polish consul are working on an agreement for a Polish licence to be changed for a Jersey one.

Both say they are hopeful a resolution can be found in the next few weeks.

One of the stumbling blocks has been that a Jersey driving licence is not recognised in Poland.
