House prices 'twice UK average'
People in Jersey are still paying, on average, nearly double the price of a home in the UK.

The average house price is 331,000, compared with 183,500 in the UK.

Despite this being about 1,000 more than 2004, the States House Price Index said in general prices had been fairly stable in the past two years.

The States House Price Index measures the combined average price of one and two-bedroom flats; plus two, three and four-bedroomed houses.
