Anger at greenfield houses plan
The committee in charge of planning is being warned it could face a vote of no confidence if it ignores decisions made by Jersey's States.

The environment and public services committee said that it could not go back on an agreement to put two houses on a field on Route de Noirmont.

But Deputy Jackie Hilton says they can, but would have to pay compensation.

She says if her plans to protect the field are successful in the States then the committee should respect that.
