Quarterly house prices up by 3.4%
The cost of a home in Jersey is rising, according to the latest statistics.

Figures released by the States on Wednesday show that property prices in the island have risen by 3.4% over the past quarter.

A two bedroom flat now costs an average of 250,000 while a four bedroom house is an average 467,000.

The States Statistics Department said it is not worried by the rise which it has said shows signs of a buoyant property market.
