Survivor oversees Holocaust play
Eva Schloss
Eva Schloss: Nazi concentration camp survivor
Holocaust survivor Eva Schloss is in Jersey to oversee auditions for a play about her life.

Eva was friends with the diarist Anne Frank in war-time Amsterdam before they were interned by the Nazis.

And Then They Came For Me - Remembering the Life of Anne Frank by James Still is a play about teenagers Anne Frank, Ed Silverberg and Eva Schloss.

It portrays how they coped under Nazi rule, their forced move into hiding and their deportation to death camps.

Auditions for the play are being held at the Jersey War Tunnels on Saturday and Sunday.

The play is being performed in the war tunnels at the beginning of April.
