Jersey's government is to hold a three-day meeting to discuss proposed reforms to the political system. The States will consider proposals to replace the current committee system with one which has a council of ministers at its centre.
If approved the new council will be introduced after the island's elections next year.
There are currently several amendments tabled to the proposals, including a list of 32 from Senator Stuart Syvret.
It is likely the States will also discuss possible changes to Jersey's gambling laws.
