Jeremy Clarkson said people were staring into his kitchen window |
A dispute between famous Isle of Man resident Jeremy Clarkson and a group of local ramblers could be the subject of a legal inquiry. The Top Gear presenter has been criticised after he fenced-off part of his land that is popular with ramblers.
He said he put the fence up near his Langness lighthouse home as people were staring into his kitchen window.
Transport Minister David Anderson has confirmed legal advice is being considered over the dispute.
The Public Right Of Way Langness (Prowl) group is demanding the pathway re-opens.
Last week they claimed a Law Lords ruling gives people the right to use it.
In Tynwald this week, Rushen MHK Quintin Gill asked for a swift resolution to the prolonged dispute.
The Department of Transport has already met Mr Clarkson and a Prowl member but no agreement has been reached.
