Rise in sightings of marine life
Dolphin
Dolphins are regularly spotted off the Manx coast
Large numbers of marine life have been spotted in Manx waters since the start of the summer.

According to a new database launched on 21 June, there has been a rise in the number of minke whales spotted off the Isle of Man coast.

The island's shores are already popular with dolphins and basking sharks.

An abundance of plankton and sand eels are believed to be behind the increased sightings of minke whales, together with the recent spell of warm weather.
