People opening their homes to visitors during the Isle of Man TT Races are being urged to register their property ahead of the event. The Homestay scheme has been set up to cater for the overflow of tourists during the festival.
Homeowners can charge visitors to stay at their houses over the 27 May to Friday 9 June.
Those taking part are asked to inform the Department of Tourism and Leisure as soon as possible.
Tourism Minister David Cretney commented: "It is obviously in everyone's interest to register for the Homestay scheme as soon as possible as this covers public liability insurance and registration for the scheme costs 8.
"I would strongly recommend anyone who is charging visitors during the TT period to contact my Department as soon as possible."
