'No space' for mini moto course
Miniature motorcycle
Councillors say it is a matter for the Department of Tourism and Leisure
Councillors on the Isle of Man have said it is not their responsibility to create a place for young people to play on their mini motorcycles.

Officials in Douglas said there was nowhere suitable for a course in the town and that it was a matter for the Department of Tourism and Leisure.

Fifty people attended a demonstration over the lack of facilities at Pulrose power station car park at the weekend.

But no members of Douglas Council were present at the protest.

Council leader Linda Ramsey said they were not told of the demonstration.

"I don't think it's a case of us not turning up. In fact most of us were not aware of the demonstration until last week," she said.
