EuroManx is the busiest airline at Ronaldsway
The number of air passengers flying in to the Isle of Man is on the increase, the latest figures show.

In September, 71,649 flew into Ronaldsway - 2% more than the same time last year.

The busiest routes were those flown by EuroManx, which accounted for nearly half of the passengers.

The most popular route was to Liverpool, with 15,780 passengers flying between the city and the island. About 14,486 travelled from Manchester.

A total of 807,360 passengers have travelled through the airport up to the end of September this year.

Phil Pain, airport director, said: "This was an all-time record September, exceeding last year by 2%."
