Liverpool and Manchester are the most popular routes
Passenger numbers at Ronaldsway Airport on the Isle of Man have reached an all-time high.

The airport reported a record monthly total of 75,954 passengers travelling through in August.

The busiest route from the island is to and from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which is taken by 20% of passengers.

And Manchester overtook Gatwick to become the second busiest air route to the UK, with an increase of 4,065 passengers taking the route last month.

Manchester now takes 18% of passengers, Gatwick takes 14%, Birmingham has an 8.5% share and London City takes 6.5%.
