The girls tempted Sir Norman by donating profits to charity

The 90-year-old entertainer retired from the stage in October 2004 but agreed to appear in the promo for the Isle of Man band, Twisted Angels.

The group plan to donate 25% of profits from the single to Project 21, a local charity supported by Sir Norman.

"We had some great laughs on the set and it was wonderful for me to be in front of the cameras again," he said.

Steph Motley, lead singer of the all-girl teenage group, said they had an "excellent time" making the clip, shot in a slapstick fashion in tribute to their special guest.

"He is really funny, a lovely guy," she added.

The band wanted to support Project 21 in memory of one of their close friends, Aalish Patterson, who died in a car crash.

Ms Patterson's parents, Sandra and Graham Dimelow, are heavily involved in the charity, which was set up to help people with mental and physical disabilities.

"It is a really great charity that has been set up to provide local people with a lot of opportunities and we are glad that our single will help with that," added Sarah.

"And it was such a wicked experience to work with Sir Norman."

"Declining was never an option," added the veteran entertainer.
