Warning over TT track parked cars
Ryan Farquhar in TT action
The MGP begins next week
Cars parked on the Manx Grand Prix (MGP) and TT course will be removed if their owners do not shift them, the Isle of Man Constabulary has warned.

A force spokesman said the vehicles were causing delays for practice.

He added the cars need to be moved this week in time for road closures for riders to practice.

If the cars are not removed the race organisers will take them away, he added, and the owners will be reported as they are committing an offence.

"The time taken to deal with these vehicles erodes into practice sessions and the cooperation of the public is sought during the MGP period," he added.

The second day's practice was held up for 20 minutes by illegally parked cars in Parliament Square, Ramsey.

The MGP takes place next Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
