More candidates for Sark election

Forty-three people have so far put themselves forward as candidates in Sark's historic elections.

Islanders will go to the polls on 10 December to democratically elect 28 members of the Chief Pleas. Nominations close on Wednesday.

The changes to Sark's constitution were made in order to comply with human rights legislation.

For more than four centuries, the island's tenants (landowners) have automatically had a seat.
