Police hunt for cemetery vandals
Vandals are being hunted by police in Guernsey following the destruction of pots and memorials at a cemetery.

The damage at the graveyard in the La Route de Longfrie in St Peter's is thought to have been caused at some point over the weekend.

Reverend Maurice Strike said he was saddened by the attack, which he claims shows a lack of respect for others.

He said: "Imagine a parent or loved one coming in and seeing the desecration of a grave - it's just unbelievable."

About 60 headstones at a cemetery in Bolton, Greater Manchester, were also vandalised last weekend.
