Snowy delays for island flights
Guernsey airport
Passengers are advised to check in as usual
Seven flights at Guernsey Airport were delayed on Tuesday morning after light snow fell around the runway.

Services to Southampton, Jersey, Gatwick, Manchester were delayed because of the weather.

A spokesman for the island's police said they had not received any reports of problems on the roads.

Airport Director Colin Le Ray told the BBC that passengers should continue to check in for flights as normal as the snow is only patchy.
