Green future for airport entrance
Guernsey States is planning new landscaping to spruce up the entrance to the island's airport.

Nearby residents have complained that the mound of earth restricts their views and that dirt from it has blown into their properties.

States Landscape and Countryside Officer Alan Richie said plans for planting native vegetation on the bund could brighten up the view.

He also says it will help the bund merge into the island's landscape.
