Wardens needed to tackle vandals
A senior Guernsey constable is calling for more volunteer wardens to try and tackle the growing problem of vandalism on the island.

Urinals and toilets were smashed at a playground at Les Amarreurs last week in the latest in a series of incidents over the summer.

Vale parishioners are being urged to be on the lookout after that incident.

In recent months sea safety signs have been stolen in the area, and picnic benches have also been targeted.

Senior Constable Jeanette Guille says more volunteer wardens are needed to help tackle the problem.
