Guernsey's farmers have given a cautious welcome to a shake up of the island's dairy which will stop it fixing the price of milk in shops. Milkmen have taken legal advice as they fear being priced out of the market.
President of the Guernsey Farmers' Association, Julian Ogier, is concerned a demise of milk rounds could result in a loss in sales.
However he added that farmers would welcome the move if it improves the viability of the dairy.
