Market group to address residents
Guernsey market
The developers will explain how the project is progressing
Guernsey's pedestrian safety group is meeting this week to hear more about work on the town's market.

The members of Steps will be addressed by the director of Mcaulay Developments, Brett Allen, as well as the architect Alastair Duncan.

The developers will explain how the project is progressing, giving details about issues affecting pedestrians and those with disabilities.

Plans to pedestrianise Market Square will also be described.

The move is supported by Steps, which believes it will enhance the area for shoppers.

The organisation is in favour of creating more traffic-free shopping areas in St Peter Port.

The meeting starts at 1930 GMT on Tuesday in the Old Board Room at the hospital.
