Island could face water shortage
Guernsey could face significant water shortages next summer if the island does not get plenty of rain over the winter months.

The warning has come from the States Water Board, despite heavier than average rainfall during October.

The Board says the island's reservoirs are now at 65% capacity.

That is 15% percent below the ten-year average for this time of year.
