Georgia and Russia agree truce

Russia and Georgia have agreed a truce brokered by French President Nicolas Sarkozy intended to pave the way for peace.

Announcing details of the framework deal after talks in Tbilisi and Moscow, Mr Sarkozy called on both sides to respect the letter and spirit of the agreement.
