Medvedev calls end to hostilities

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has announced the end to hostilities in Georgia, at a conference in the Kremlin.

His meeting with Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and Russia's general staff commander was broadcast on Russian television.
