The first major exhibition of Jersey's celebrations to mark 800 years of links with the British Crown starts on Tuesday. Brothers-in-Arms tells the history of Jersey over more than 250 years.
The Jersey Heritage Trust is holding an exhibition from April until October at the Jersey Museum.
The exhibition will tell the history of Jersey over a period of more than 250 years - a pivotal time in the island's history, according to the organisers.
The exhibition focuses on French raids on Jersey to make visitors think about the strategic, tactical and political importance of the Channel Islands following the loss of Normandy and during the Hundred Years War.
It includes rare medieval swords and armour from the British Museum and the Museum of London.
Objects excavated from Mont Orgueil Castle will also be on display for the first time.
