Two periods of Jersey's history will be brought to life on Saturday.
The island's two largest castles, Mont Orgueil and Elizabeth Castle, will be hosting living history groups.
Medieval re-enactment group, the Harliston Household, will be inhabiting Mont Orgueil Castle.
And the 1781 Jersey Militia will be firing muskets and a canon at Elizabeth Castle.
Period costume
The Harliston Household will be demonstrating archery, sword fighting, dancing and how to defend the castle against attack.
Jumping forward three centuries, Elizabeth Castle will be guarded by the 1781 Militia 4th Regiment, 2nd Battalion.
Its members will be on garrison duty, carrying out musket drill from 1764 followed by cannon loading and firing.
There will be several cannon on display and families of the soldiers will also be there, dressed in period costume.
