Spy cameras call
Businesses in St Peter Port are calling for improvements to the CCTV system in St Peter Port.

The move follows a series of incidents involving drunken behaviour in the town at weekends.

Now the Town Centre Partnership, the Police Consultative Group and the licensed victuallers have united to fight the problem.

TCP executive officer Jack Honeybill said improving the CCTV system would act as a deterrent.

The TCP is also backing plans to regenerate the North Plantation area of St Peter Port.

Police, who have complained about a shortage of officers, have welcomed the united front against anti-social behaviour.
