A number of Jersey politicians say they have set up a 'waste watch' group which they argue could save taxpayers �6m. The group is made up of a number of States members.
Spin doctors, glossy reports, the States training scheme and the bus contract are all in the firing line from the group.
It is calling itself 'waste watch' because politicians on it say they will be publicly exposing money-wasting.
The group admits it has no legal powers, but says if wasteful practises continue, members will bring a 'no confidence motion' to the States.
The 'waste watch' group has been set up by a group of what are being called 'like-minded' politicians.
It has been brought together by Senator Ted Vibert and includes Deputy Geoff Southern, Deputy Alan Breckon, Deputy Gerard Baudains and Senator Paul Le Claire.
