Will Young announces tour of UK

Pop Idol winner Will Young has announced a 17-date UK tour, due to begin in Newcastle on 16 November.

The Let It Go 2008 tour will start at the City Hall and take in Cardiff, Glasgow, Plymouth and Ipswich before winding up in London on 12 December.

The dates will promote the singer's new album, to be released on 12 September.

Young is also performing at various festivals during the summer including, T In the Park in Scotland and Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

Changes, the first single from Let It Go, will also be released in September.

Young, who recently performed at Glastonbury, last toured the UK in 2006.
