The Police reunited last year |
The Police are adding dates to their reunion tour with 30 concerts across North America. Elvis Costello and The Imposters are set to join the North American tour, which begins on 1 May in Ottawa.
Last year, the group's first outing in more than 20 years was named the top grossing and top-selling tour of 2007 at the Billboard touring awards.
Singer and bass player Sting, drummer Stewart Copeland and guitarist Andy Summers kicked off their tour last May.
The tour will also take in Seattle, Denver and Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl among other venues.
The Police are also returning to do a number of European dates in June and July, as well as performing at festivals including the Isle of Wight.
Police fan club members will be able to purchase tickets from 20 February, with tickets going on general sale from 23 February.
