Snooker legend Willie Thorne is the latest celebrity to have been voted off the BBC One show Strictly Come Dancing. Thorne danced the tango in a dance-off against the former footballer John Barnes, who danced the jive, after the public left them in the bottom two.
He failed to impress the judges, who chose to send him home, and Bruno Tonioli said his dancing style resembled "a polar bear in the Sahara".
Next week the couples will perform the American Smooth or the Samba.
Judge Len Goodman, who awarded him six out of 10, said: "Impeccable footwork. I looked at your feet and there were no balls when there should have been heels.
"Your posture, it's all those years of popping the green. It will get better, of course it will."
Last week actress Stephanie Beacham was the first female celebrity to exit the show, which is hosted by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly.
