Ugly Betty actress Rebecca Romijn has married actor Jerry O'Connell, a spokesman for the star has confirmed. Romijn, 34, and O'Connell, 33, tied the knot at a small, private ceremony in their Los Angeles home, Lewis Kay told People magazine.
It is the first marriage for O'Connell, who rose to fame as a child actor in Stand By Me. Romijn was married to ER star John Stamos for five years.
The former model plays male-to-female transexual Alex Meade in Ugly Betty.
Her previous acting roles include the character of Mystique in the X-Men movies and the title role in short-lived US sitcom Pepper Dennis.
O'Connell currently appears as Detective Woody Hoyt in US medical crime drama Crossing Jordan.
He has also starred in films such as Jerry Maguire, and science-fiction series Sliders.
The actor also wrote the screenplay for the film First Daughter, a romantic comedy about the US President's daughter which was directed by Oscar-winning actor Forest Whittaker.
