X-Men actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and her actor husband John Stamos have separated after five years of marriage, the couple's publicist has said. The split between Romijn, 31, a former lingerie model, and Full House sitcom star Stamos, 40, was "amicable", said their spokesman Lewis Kay.
He said they had no other comment, and asked for them to be given privacy.
Romijn has appeared in the two X-Men films as well as crime thriller Femme Fatale and action movie Rollerball.
Stamos is best known for his role as Jesse in Full House between 1987 to 1995, and has recently performed on the Broadway stage.
The couple met in 1994 at a fashion show and married in September 1998.
