Radiohead are among the V Festival attractions this weekend |
More than 130,000 music fans have spent the weekend at the two sites of the V Festival, watching headliners such as Radiohead, Morrissey and Beck. The event was staged at Weston Park in Staffordshire and Hylands Park in Essex, with tickets selling out in three hours when released in March.
Among the acts were Keane, who have pulled out of a gig in Edinburgh later in the month so their singer can rest.
The Sugababes, Paul Weller, Faithless, Hard-Fi and Razorlight were also there.
"It's acts like these that give our festival its unique eclectic feel," said organiser Bob Angus.
Emerging talent
Radiohead and Morrissey also made their debuts at the 11th annual V event.
The Virgin Mobile Union stage was added this year, to showcase emerging acts from across the UK, who are looking to play to big crowds.

It featured more than 20 bands as well as indie DJs to keep fans entertained between sets. The artists on the bill for the new stage included James Morrison - currently at number one with his debut album Undiscovered - plus Sandi Thom, Paolo Nutini, Seth Lakeman and producer Trevor Horn's latest project, Captain.
A total of 66 people have been arrested at the festival for drug and theft offences since Friday.
A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said a further 215 festival-goers had been cautioned.
A spokesman for Essex police said: "We would also like to praise the majority of music revellers at this weekend's V Festival for abiding by the law."
Last year's festival featured Oasis, Franz Ferdinand and the Scissor Sisters among the 80 acts taking part.
