Jackie Chan has filmed a public service advert warning children about bird flu, according to the film star's website. Chan filmed the advert, funded by Unicef, at a Hong Kong school. It is not known where it will be shown.
A still shot published on his website shows Chan holding a blue paper bird, surrounded by children.
Chan is a goodwill ambassador for Unicef and has also campaigned against land mines. Bird flu has killed over 100 people worldwide.
Chan's advert is intended to educate children about the dangers of avian flu.
The majority of cases have occurred in Asia, and children are thought to be more at risk from the virus.
