Action movie star Jackie Chan has been presented with an award in recognition of his status as a global role model. Cherie Blair, the wife of UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, presented Chan with the 2005 World Diversity award in a ceremony at a London hotel.
The prize made by the Next Step Foundation was also in recognition of the Shanghai Noon star's charity work.
Mrs Blair said her husband was "a bit of a fan" of Chan. "He tells me that Rush Hour is his favourite," she added.
