US teen actress Lindsay Lohan has been released from hospital in Miami after being treated for an asthma attack. Spokeswoman Leslie Sloane said: "She is much better. She is on her way home with her family. She is doing great."
The Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded star was admitted to hospital on Monday after suffering breathing difficulties in her hotel room.
Lohan, 19, is due to start work on new film Chapter 27, about John Lennon's killer Mark Chapman, in two weeks.
Ms Sloane said Lohan had suffered from asthma since childhood.
Earlier this week, Lohan told Vanity Fair magazine she had briefly dabbled in drugs and was fighting bulimia.
Lohan's mother and manager Dina has said she plans to take her daughter home to New York to recover.
